This policy explains how the schoolwisely.com website handles your details. It covers this website only.
The SchoolWisely software will have its own privacy policy. So will our agreements with schools. Both will be published before the pilot begins.
The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us. We use it to reply to you. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other websites.
Who we are
SchoolWisely is run by Abdul Hannan, trading as SchoolWisely, based in Karachi, Pakistan. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean SchoolWisely.

What we collect and why
When you apply for the pilot
The pilot form asks for your name, school name, email, mobile or WhatsApp number, city, your role, and the number of branches. It also asks what you would most like to improve, and for your consent tick.
We use these details to review your application and contact you about the pilot. They also help us understand what your school needs. The form is sent through Formspree to our email. Formspree also keeps a copy in our Formspree account.
Please do not write student or parent details in the form. We do not need them at this stage.
When you email or WhatsApp us
If you email abdul@schoolwisely.com or message us on WhatsApp at +92 332 2476654, we receive your message. We also see your email address or phone number, the name on your account, and anything you attach. We use this only to reply to you.
When you book a meeting
Our booking page runs on Google Calendar. Google receives the details you enter there, and the booking appears in our calendar. We use it to arrange and hold the meeting.
When you visit the website
Hosting and protection. Cloudflare hosts this website. It processes your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection) to show you the pages and to protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare may also set small, strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. These are not used for advertising.
Visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in total, such as how many people viewed a page. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We use it to see which pages are useful.
Things that stay on your device
Light or dark theme. Your choice is saved in your own browser (called local storage). It is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
The "Ask SchoolWisely" assistant. It runs inside your browser. Your questions are not sent to us and are not stored.
What we do not do
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other websites. We do not ask for your details unless you choose to contact us.
Who else handles your details
We use a few trusted services to run this website. Each one handles your details only to do its job for us. Each has its own privacy policy.

We do not share your details with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Pilot applications, emails, WhatsApp messages and meeting bookings: 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. If your school becomes a customer, we keep what we need to work with you.
Visit counts: kept as totals only, so they do not identify anyone.
The services listed above may keep their own records for a time, under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
tell you what details we hold about you
correct anything that is wrong
delete your details
stop contacting you
Just email abdul@schoolwisely.com or send a WhatsApp message to +92 332 2476654. We may ask a simple question to check it is really you. We will reply within 30 days.
You never have to fill in the pilot form. If you do, you can change your mind later and ask us to delete it.
Keeping your details safe
We follow a few simple rules:
We only collect what we need to reply to you.
Only the SchoolWisely founder can see your details. If others join the team, only those who need your details to reply to you will see them.
We use well-known services with protected sign-in.
We delete details when we no longer need them.
No website can promise perfect security. If something goes wrong that affects your details, we will tell you.
Children
This website is for adults choosing a system for their school. It is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect children's details through it.
If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Inside the SchoolWisely software, schools will store details about students and their families. That data will be covered by a separate privacy policy and by our agreements with schools. Both will be ready before the pilot begins.
Your details outside Pakistan
The services we use are run by international companies. They may process or store your details on servers outside Pakistan. We choose established providers and share only what each one needs.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles your details, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is important, we will also show a short notice on the website.
